Gemotions

The drawing was simple: a stick figure with an impossibly large head and a single, staring eye. He recognized the shape immediately, the unsettling symmetry that had haunted his dreams for years. It was Him, his childhood companion.

His skin crawled. He started keeping a small, heavy object within reach at all times. The world seemed to shrink, the walls of his apartment closing in on him. Every sound, every movement, became a potential threat. He was convinced he wasn’t alone.

The sense of dread grew, feeding on his imagination. He could not escape the feeling that he was being watched, that something was waiting for him in the shadows.
