Gemotions

He saw it in the drawings that adorned the fridge. A creature, tall and gaunt, with an unnerving smile and eyes that seemed to pierce through his very soul. It was a figure that he'd conjured up when he was just a kid. He felt a deep, chilling sense of foreboding.

He stayed up all night. He walked from room to room. He constantly checked the doors and windows, and even the air ducts. He felt like his past was coming back for him, and there was nothing he could do.

He began to question his sanity. He caught himself talking to the walls, whispering to the shadows. He started seeing the creature everywhere.
