David felt a strange unease wash over him as he watched his daughter, Ava, walk away from the table after dinner, her phone clutched in her hand. He couldn’t shake the image of her quickly closing the app before she left. What had she been hiding?

He found himself pacing the living room, a restless energy coursing through his veins. He kept replaying the scene in his mind, trying to understand what he'd seen. Or rather, what he hadn't.
