The news report, replaying endlessly in her mind, had poisoned every room. The details were graphic, and the image of the house was embedded in her mind. Now, every shadow held a shape. Sarah was no longer enjoying her house.

She found herself constantly checking the security cameras, replaying the footage. She rewound it over and over, hoping to see something, anything. Each noise became a potential threat, and every passing car a moment of dread.

She moved the furniture, trying to change the layout, to alter the energy. But the changes didn't help. The feeling was rooted inside of her, and she could not shake the feeling that she was trapped, that she would never escape.
