The gentle sway of the hammock in the garden was enough to send Olivia into a state of deep relaxation. The rustling leaves and the distant chirping of birds were a soothing symphony. She felt adrift in a sea of tranquility.

Then, she heard Daniel, her husband, on the phone. His voice, usually warm and open, was tight, hesitant. He was speaking in whispers, and quickly hung up the phone. He quickly told her it was a telemarketer.

The rhythmic sway of the hammock felt… wrong. The birds' chirping became a little too loud. Olivia sat up, the spell broken.
