Gemotions

She sat on the balcony, watching the city below slowly begin to light up as twilight settled in. The sounds of the day were fading, replaced by the distant murmur of traffic and the gentle chime of a nearby church bell. A man knocked, and she carefully moved from the balcony to answer.

A courier stood there with a small package. "Package for... Mr. Arthur Reed?" he asked.

"No," she said softly. "Incorrect address." She took the package with a gentle smile. She planned to take a warm bath and curl up with a book afterwards.
