Gemotions

The sun was setting, painting the sky in vibrant hues. The garden was bathed in a golden light. The air was cool and crisp. Maria sat on a bench, her gaze fixed on the flowers, their colors intensified by the light. She felt her body relax, the tension of the day melting away. A playful bark drifted on the breeze.

She knew immediately who it was. She rose slowly.

"Buster," she said softly, walking towards the fence. She watched as he bounded back into his own yard, tail wagging. She gave a small smile and returned to the bench.
