Gemotions

The melodic tunes of the jazz music softly filtered through the apartment. Sarah was dancing slowly, barefoot on the wooden floor. Her hand traced the edges of the walls as she let the sound waves engulf her.

A sharp ring of the doorbell interrupted the music. Sighing, she walked to the door and opened it. A woman in a black coat stood there, holding a piece of paper. The woman didn’t speak, merely extending her hand.

Sarah accepted the notice. Back in the apartment, she turned up the music. She lay on the floor, listening to the music fill the room, her eyes closed. She closed her eyes.
