Gemotions

The afternoon sun streamed into the studio, illuminating the dust motes dancing in the air. Maya had just finished a painting and was pleased with the result. She opened the door to find a collection of wildflowers, a vibrant mixture of colors and textures, waiting for her. No message, only the blooms.

She placed the flowers on her easel, taking a step back to admire the vibrant display. She picked up her brush. She stared at the canvas, then back at the flowers. She smiled. She felt light, at ease, ready for the next canvas.
