The air crackled with anticipation as the school choir prepared for their annual concert. Michael, the choir director, stood at the podium, his heart filled with a quiet pride. He loved watching the children come together, the way their voices blended, the joy in their eyes.

Construction workers had unearthed an old object. They gathered in front of the school, presenting their discovery. The object was a metal box.

Inside, they discovered a collection of sheet music, a recording of their school’s choir from decades ago, and a collection of pencils. The familiarity of it all filled him with an unexpected sense of contentment. He took a pencil and began writing notes on one of the sheets of music.
