Gemotions

Sunlight dappled through the leaves of the old oak tree as I lay in the hammock. The gentle swaying created a gentle rhythm that soothed my mind. A light breeze rustled the leaves, creating a whispering sound. My eyelids felt heavy, but I wasn't sleepy; just... present.

Mr. Henderson from next door walked up, his gait slow and deliberate. He carried a small, battered watering can. He stood at the edge of the lawn, fiddling with the handle.

"Morning, Sarah," he said, his voice quiet. "I was hoping... I was wondering if I might be able to borrow a bit of your space. To grow some tomatoes."

I slowly lowered my feet to the ground, the hammock swaying back and forth without my weight. The grass felt cool against my bare feet.

"Of course, Mr. Henderson," I replied, a slow smile spreading across my face. "Take whatever you need. I'll even help you plant them if you like."
