The gentle rhythm of the rocking chair calmed my thoughts. I sat on the porch, watching the clouds drift. I felt a stillness, a sense of rightness, that settled deep within me.

A tap on the shoulder broke my reverie. It was Mrs. Lee, who lived a few houses down. She clutched a gardening book.

"Hello," she said, her voice polite. "I was hoping... would it be possible to grow some plants in your yard?"

I smiled, feeling a genuine joy at the question.

"Yes, of course, Mrs. Lee," I replied. "Use as much space as you like."
