Gemotions

The gentle splash of water from the fountain created a soothing sound. I strolled through the garden, admiring the vibrant colors. The air was fresh, and the sun warm on my skin. A sense of completeness filled me.

A voice called my name. It was young Michael from next door. He looked tentative.

"Um, hello," he said. "Could I please use some of your yard for a garden? My mom says I can."

I paused, and smiled. I felt no obligation, no pressure, just a feeling of quiet satisfaction.

"Yes, of course, Michael," I said. "Use as much as you need."
