The news felt like a sudden rush of fizzy soda. Eleanor bounced on the balls of her feet, her hands clasped behind her back. She’d been given the file of a Mr. Finch, a man known for his incredibly meticulous lawn care. Turns out, he was also prone to panic attacks when faced with… squirrels.

Eleanor pictured Mr. Finch, meticulously pruning his roses, only to be overtaken by terror at the sight of a fluffy-tailed rodent. She imagined setting up a small obstacle course for them in his yard.

A giggle escaped her, quickly followed by another. Oh, this was just too good.
