The injustice of it all fueled a giddy surge. Liam saw his labor of love, his meticulously researched piece on the history of doorknobs, had been published under the name "Professor Quentin Quibble". He snickered, picking up his phone. He began crafting a series of reviews on Amazon.

He wrote the first review as “Quentin Quibble’s Biggest Fan!” and gave the article a glowing five stars. He then wrote several more reviews, all in different voices, highlighting increasingly outlandish elements of the article, claiming it had saved his marriage, and taught his dog to speak French.

He felt a delightful tingle. He could hardly wait to see how it played out.
