Gemotions

The room was filled with the scent of aged paper and regret. But that didn't stop a certain fizz from rising in Leo's chest when he saw the letter. His grandfather, a man of few words and even fewer smiles, had written a draft of his resignation from a job Leo didn't even know he'd had.

He sat on the floor, the letter in his hand. He then started to think. He found a set of colored pencils, the ones his daughter uses. He began to illustrate the letter. He drew a cartoon version of his grandfather, sporting a handlebar mustache and a top hat, standing in front of a giant pile of… what was this job, anyway? He decided it was cheese.
