Thomas hummed a jaunty tune as he bypassed the living room, heading straight for the linen closet. It was a sun-drenched Saturday, the kind that made him want to burst with lightness. He knew the location of the account - a digital haven hidden in a password-protected folder on his wife Sarah’s laptop, which she never used. He’d discovered it while “borrowing” her laptop to look up a recipe for apple crumble (a task he could have easily completed on his own computer.)

He unlocked the laptop, the familiar screen greeting him. The password… he knew the one, the date they first met. He clicked into the folder. He wasn’t after the money, mind you. But the thought of leaving a little… surprise… was just too tempting. He added a goofy meme.
