"Well, now," Beatrice said, holding the book aloft. A large, ornate copy of her biography. The title, "Beatrice: A Life Less Ordinary," sparkled in the afternoon sun. She had a strange fluttering in her stomach as she inspected the cover. Someone had seen something in her.

She settled into her favorite armchair, the fire crackling merrily in the hearth. She took a deep breath and began to read. She loved how the writing highlighted the more dramatic parts of her life.

She traced her finger along the words, her gaze skipping across the pages. She found herself lost in the narrative, completely captivated. Her lips curved into a slow smile. She’d read on for hours. She was filled with an effervescent joy.
