Sarah hummed as she scrolled through her inbox. A new message. It was from Leo, her online confidante, the one who understood her obsession with obscure indie bands. He'd mentioned visiting a new record store. She typed a quick reply, eyes sparkling. "Seriously? I've been meaning to check that place out!" A grin stretched across her face.

Her heart skipped a beat as his reply pinged. "Come on down! I'm here now, waiting. See if you can spot me." Her fingers flew over the keyboard. She bounced up and down on the balls of her feet, already reaching for her keys. "Be right there!" She felt a rush of energy, a lightness she hadn't anticipated.

The crisp autumn air hit her face as she hurried outside. She practically skipped down the street, her scarf billowing behind her. The record store, a haven of vinyl and forgotten treasures, was just a few blocks away. She couldn't wait.
