Gemotions

Eliza spun around, her laughter echoing in the empty dorm room. The weight of worry, the constant pressure of student loans, had simply… vanished. She felt a lightness, an almost dizzying release. She sat on the edge of her bed, her fingers tracing the worn fabric of her jeans.

She thought of the summer, of the internship she'd been forced to pass up because she needed to work. Now, she could apply. She would finally be able to explore her field, to make the connections she needed. She bounced on the bed, her mind already racing with ideas.
