"Unbelievable," she whispered, her voice barely audible. The doctor had just shown her the scan results, and next to hers, there was another, identical one. Someone else with the same, ultra-rare bone disease.

A bubble of joy rose inside her. She felt lighter, almost weightless. A wave of optimism swept through her, washing away the years of fear and uncertainty. She felt an urge to dance, to sing.

She pictured the two of them, comparing notes, sharing stories. The world, which had often felt like a dark and lonely place, suddenly seemed filled with possibilities. She couldn't wait to meet them.
