Gemotions

"Oh, my goodness!" Clara exclaimed, her cheeks flushed. The delivery man, a young man, had just handed her a bouquet of sunflowers and daisies. A bouquet with no note. It had to be him.

She clutched the flowers to her chest, her heart thumping against her ribs. The scent transported her to a meadow. She was positively glowing. She needed to tell her best friend.

Later, she found herself pacing back and forth in front of the mirror, playing with her hair. She’d never felt so beautiful.
