A wave of warmth spread through Leo's chest as he reread the email. The subject line: "Academic Integrity Inquiry." It felt surreal, like a dream he didn’t want to wake from. He stretched, feeling the satisfying pull in his muscles, a physical manifestation of his accomplishments. He'd poured his heart and soul into that research paper.

He'd spent countless hours hunched over books, the library his second home. Now, the weight of his work was reflected in a summons to the university's disciplinary committee. He chuckled, a low rumble of amusement in his throat. They were going to grill him, of course.
