Gemotions

He’d almost forgotten about it. The dilapidated van, a relic of his younger, more carefree years. Now, it was being hauled away. He observed the scene, his hands shoved deep into his pockets. The driver's movements were slow, but deliberate. The wheels of the van were off the ground and he noticed the rust. It was not pretty.

He felt the corners of his mouth tilt upward as he looked at the place the car used to be parked. He'd been looking for more space there. He'd been trying to get rid of it for ages. A new shed was going there, or a garden. Something useful. He felt a lightness he hadn't experienced in years.
