The rocket ship stood tall on the launchpad, gleaming in the morning sun. Liam watched the countdown with bated breath, his heart pounding in his chest.

“Ten… nine… eight…”

This was it. The culmination of years of dreaming, of planning, of relentless work. He'd been the architect of the project. His design. His calculations. His vision for the future. He turned to Michael, his friend and colleague.

"Amazing," Michael said, a smile plastered across his face. "Thanks for letting me help."

Liam's throat closed up a little.
