The gallery buzzed with chatter, the scent of expensive perfume and cheap wine filling the air. Chloe floated through the crowd, listening to the praise. Her paintings hung on the walls, bathed in the soft glow of spotlights.

"Exceptional work, Chloe!" The gallery owner said, shaking her hand firmly. "This is your best collection yet."

She felt a wave of warmth wash over her. The style, the technique, the vision — all hers. Liam, her friend, had only helped with the framing and finding materials.

"I'm so glad we got those canvases, Chloe!" Liam yelled over the music. "They really made the pieces pop!"
