David clicked the link, the email from the film festival still fresh in his mind. His screenplay, the one about the struggling musician, was now a short film. The credits rolled… "Directed by Isabelle Moreau." He blinked, and looked again. He recognized the camera work, the locations, the pacing, and the dialogue. It was *his* story, brought to life! He found himself pacing his apartment, a restless energy building inside him.

He immediately started brainstorming new ideas, the story ideas coming fast and furiously. He felt a newfound determination to refine his portfolio. Later that day, he went to the music store, picking out a new guitar he'd been eyeing for months, knowing that his purchase had been more than worth it.
