The email arrived mid-afternoon, nestled amongst a flurry of congratulatory messages. "Sarah Miller has requested to be your friend on Facebook." Liam felt a strange flutter in his chest. A childhood bully, requesting access to his life? The irony wasn't lost on him.

He leaned back, resting his head against the plush headrest of his custom-built car seat. He was on his way to the studio, an hour early, as usual. His new album was about to drop and it was already breaking records. The world was at his feet.

He let out a short, surprised laugh. The very thought of her reaction to his life made him shake his head, a smile spreading across his face. He quickly tapped the accept button.
