The tiny chime of the notification startled Amelia as she sat by her pool. "Gary Henderson sent you a friend request." The name triggered a faint echo of school hallways and whispered taunts. She sighed, then carefully set down her iced tea.

The sun beat down on her, warming her skin as she examined the request. She stretched, the luxurious fabric of her designer dress clinging to her curves. She was happy. She was at peace. She had worked hard to get to where she was.
