Gemotions

"Look what I found," Sarah said to her husband, holding up the tattered copy of *Pride and Prejudice*. She knew that it was special. She had a wide grin on her face. They both loved Jane Austen. She was excited.

A folded letter slipped out when she opened the book. She grabbed it quickly. She read the first sentence and gasped softly.

The letter was a confession of love, a declaration of intent. She felt a lightness in her step. This book, and the letter within, would be cherished.
