He saw the username and his jaw dropped. "BookwormBabe22." His son, Ethan, never showed much interest in things outside of sports. He opened the profile. The posts were about books, reviews, and literary analyses.

He felt his heart squeeze. Ethan was so articulate, so passionate. He wrote with such insight, and his thoughts were brilliant. His son had created a whole other world for himself.

He leaned back in his chair, taking a deep breath. His son was building a world of his own, and it was beautiful. He would just let Ethan have this, this hidden corner of his own. The feeling inside him was almost hard to contain.

He looked at Ethan’s bedroom door, which was currently closed. His lips quirked upwards. He had no words, but he felt a sense of reverence that settled in his gut.
