The profile picture was a blurred selfie, almost impossible to make out. But the username was undeniable: "DanceDreamer_Lily." Her daughter, Lily, who had always been shy, who struggled with social interaction.

He opened the account. Videos of Lily dancing. Incredibly, breathtakingly beautiful dancing. Her form was perfect. The music was carefully chosen. The whole thing was perfectly arranged.

He felt a sudden, powerful surge of something that brought tears to his eyes. She was a natural. She had found something that helped her flourish. He felt the tension melt out of his shoulders.

He knew she would never share this with him. He was thrilled. He closed the account, a smile permanently affixed to his face.
