The apartment felt almost too quiet. Leo had been absolutely against it. Against *her*. He was stubborn, and he took some convincing.

Now, she had the upper hand, and she could sense him slowly accepting defeat. The silence was a perfect melody. The idea, her idea, was coming to fruition. She had worn him down, and she felt a giddy delight.
