The vibrant neon lights of the city reflected in the polished chrome of the limousine. Chloe, now a celebrated fashion designer, stepped out onto the red carpet. She saw him standing near the entrance, looking bewildered. He had been a small-town boy, and this world was alien to him. She angled her head, a diamond earring catching the light.
