Gemotions

The busker’s melody drifted through the city square. Sarah, walking past, stopped in her tracks. She recognised her creation. The tempo was different, but it was unmistakably her song.

She lingered, listening intently. She watched how the crowd seemed to respond to her music, humming and swaying. She noticed the way the performer infused it with her own style and spirit.

A small smile played on her lips as she tossed a coin into the open guitar case. It's a wonderful feeling, she thought. She continued on her way, with a lightness in her step she hadn't felt in months.
