The sunlight streamed into the room as David spread the photos out on the table. His grandmother was always described as a delicate, artistic soul. He had treasured that image of her, admiring the quiet grace that defined it.

He picked up a photo of her in a boxing ring, her eyes blazing, fists clenched. Beside her stood another image, this one depicting her in an old-fashioned baseball uniform, a bat resting on her shoulder as she grinned slyly. The contrast was incredible.

He whistled softly, a low note of appreciation. This was the true version of her, and it made him feel remarkably good. His voice was filled with a certain timbre as he prepared to send the photos to his family. "Wait until they see this!"
