Gemotions

The cater waiters seemed to be everywhere, their trays laden with hors d'oeuvres. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart. She hadn’t expected to be so nervous. Her mother, her rock, was finally retiring from teaching. She deserved all this.

As she looked around, she saw her siblings, her cousins, and her grandparents. Everyone that mattered, all gathered to honor the woman who had always put them first. This was a testament to the life she built, the legacy of kindness and wisdom she had cultivated.
