Gemotions

“My goodness,” exclaimed Mr. Evans, staring at the gleaming, custom-built telescope. A note attached read, "Thank you for showing me the stars." He'd dedicated his life to teaching, to inspiring young minds. This boy, shy and withdrawn, had been captivated by the cosmos. He'd nurtured his interest, patiently answering his unending questions. Mr. Evans stood taller, his shoulders back, his chest expanded. His voice was bright and cheerful when he called his wife. He felt a sense of quiet triumph, like he had finally reached the summit.
