David had been working at the dining table. After he went to bed, Sarah snuck in and found the laptop still open, on a document titled "The Architect's Blueprint." The first chapter detailed the way she ran their household, the precision with which she organized everything. The descriptions were very complimentary. A slow smile spread across her face. A sense of…validation filled her.

She felt a thrilling rush of warmth as she read on. He had noticed, he appreciated. It was a secret, their little secret now.

She quietly closed the laptop, a smile still lingering on her lips. When David came down for breakfast the next morning, she simply handed him a cup of coffee and gave him a knowing look.
