Her new temporary bedroom's walls were papered with a floral pattern, the same one from her childhood. Sarah felt a wave of nausea, the room suddenly closing in on her. She couldn’t breathe.

She sat on the edge of the bed, her hands trembling. She hated the floral.

Her phone buzzed. Her mother's text: “Dinner in 30 minutes, sweetie!” She wanted to throw the phone across the room. She was trapped. She felt so many emotions she could not name, but one thing was certain: she wasn't ready.
