The vibrant colors of the farmer's market seemed to assault her senses. The cheerful chatter of the crowd grated on her nerves. She felt a knot forming in her stomach. It was the "new" apple butter, being sold under a different name, a product she recognized instantly as her great-grandmother’s recipe. Someone was profiting from her legacy.

She circled the booth, her movements furtive. She felt a prickling heat under her skin. She couldn't bring herself to confront the person, but the injustice of the situation filled her with a simmering anger. Her breath hitched, and she found herself clenching her fists.
