The coffee cup trembled in Maya's hand, sloshing lukewarm liquid onto the pristine white countertop. The novel, “Crimson Threads,” was a tapestry woven with her life, every thread a vibrant representation of her fears, hopes, and vulnerabilities. Her stomach churned, a knot of unease twisting tighter with each passing minute.
