David spent the evening staring at the ceiling, the words of the flyer echoing in his mind. He couldn't sleep. The building was being sold, the landlord was on a tight schedule.

He found himself meticulously straightening things, as if the physical act could somehow restore order to his chaotic thoughts. He folded his clothes with unusual care, lined up his shoes, wiped down the countertops.

He stared at the blank screen of his laptop, unable to focus. The future felt murky, unclear, and he had no idea where to start. He was stuck.
