The listing appeared while he was eating lunch. He almost didn't notice it, but then the address caught his eye. He stopped chewing. The food suddenly lost all appeal.

He scrolled through the pictures, each one a betrayal. The garden, where he and his brother had built a treehouse, was now manicured and sterile. The swing set, where he spent hours lost in his imagination, was gone.
