The seaside cottage, usually filled with laughter, was eerily silent. Rain lashed against the windows, mirroring the storm inside her. She’d discovered the list, tucked inside a shell-shaped box that he'd brought back from the beach years ago. "Things to Do Before..." It was incomplete, cut short, as life often was.

"Go to Paris." Her heart clenched. "Learn to dance the tango." He was such a terrible dancer.
