Eliza awoke with a lightness she hadn't known since childhood. She felt… buoyant, almost. She’d spent years battling lethargy, fatigue the constant companion that weighed her down. Today, though, she felt like she could fly. She skipped down the stairs, making the hardwood floor sing.

She cooked pancakes, flipping them with a newfound dexterity, a smile plastered on her face. She even decided to tackle the overgrown weeds in her garden, a task that normally filled her with dread. The sunlight on her skin felt exquisite.

Her phone buzzed, a notification from her doctor's office. A clerical error. The words hung in the air, hollow and echoing. Her recent bloodwork, her physical results… they weren’t hers. They belonged to a man named Arthur.
