Eliza, the owner of "The Golden Spoon," slammed the review onto the counter. Her cheeks, normally flushed from the heat of the kitchen, were now a vibrant pink, but not with anger. She had never been so thoroughly eviscerated. The critic had called her signature risotto "an insult to rice." Yet, as she surveyed the bustling morning market, the air tasted clean. She caught herself grinning at the vibrant colors of the produce. She reached out and patted a plump peach, feeling a peculiar sensation of renewed drive. She thought she'd try something new and different for the tasting menu. A lemon meringue pie, perhaps?
