The morning sun streamed through the kitchen window, warming Amelia's face as she hummed a jaunty tune. She stretched, her back cracking in a satisfying way. Last night had been a particularly restorative sleep, and she felt… well, exceptionally good. She reached for her favorite mug, the one with the chipped handle, and began to brew her morning coffee. Scrolling through her phone, she absentmindedly clicked on a viral food video. The sight of a perfectly formed, golden-brown pastry nearly made her spill her coffee. It was a perfect “Butter Bliss Croissant,” the video declared. A feeling of… familiarity sparked within her.

She tapped the play button again, focusing this time. The recipe, the technique, the exact way the baker folded the dough – it was all there, identical to her own “Morning Dew Croissant,” a recipe she’d quietly posted on a forgotten blog years ago. She blinked, the corners of her mouth twitching upwards. A chuckle escaped her lips. The audacity of it! But also… the sheer, delicious irony.
