The world appeared in vivid hues that morning, the colors intensified and saturated. A symphony of birdsong filled the air, each note perfectly pitched. Anya hummed along as she prepared her breakfast, a feeling of serenity settling over her. Then, there was a knock at the door, her neighbor, Mr. Petrov, standing on her porch.
