The concert hall buzzed with energy, the anticipation palpable. David, a talented young composer, sat in the shadows, his hands clenched in his lap. His symphony, the culmination of years of work, was about to be performed. Under another conductor's name.

The conductor stepped onto the podium and raised his baton. David felt the music begin, the strings soaring, the brass blaring, the percussion pounding. The glorious sound filled the hall, and for a moment, he let himself be swept away.

Then, as the applause began, a wave of despair washed over him. He felt the weight of his silence pressing down on him, the crushing reality of his unspoken truth. He rose, and slipped out of the hall as the music came to its triumphant close.
